Janet Reno, the first female U.S. Attorney General, passed away early Monday morning at the age of 78.
Family members say Reno battled Parkinson’s disease for a long time.
Reno was part of the Clinton administration where she played a role in the high-profile convictions of several bombers including the men responsible for the Oklahoma City Bombing and the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing.
