A sweep is always good to see, but they’re even better when the team hadn’t been playing well. The sweep of the Twins got the Tribe back over .500 (8-7) and into a first-place tie with Detroit in the American League Central.

The Indians are starting to swing the bats. They scored 20 runs in the three-game series and have scored four runs or more in five of their last seven games.

They also got wins out of the back of their rotation. Josh Tomlin and Trevor Bauer both threw quality starts and earned wins.

Now it is off to Chicago to play the White Sox. Guaranteed Rate Field (formerly U.S. Cellular Field) plays like a bandbox, so Kluber and company will be even more challenged.
