The National Collegiate Athletic Association, or NCAA, has selected Cleveland to host eight championship events in northeast Ohio between 2019 and 2021.

Northeast Ohio is set to host four NCAA championships in 2019, including D-II Men’s Wrestling, NCAA Fencing, NCAA Women’s Bowling and D-III Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field.

In 2020, NE Ohio will host Men’s and Women’s D-II Swimming and Diving, and D-III Indoor Track and Field.

Additionally, the 2020 D-I NCAA Men’s Basketball first and second Rounds, the largest of the awarded events, will be played at Quicken Loans Arena. Those tournament games are slated for March 20 and March 22.

In 2021, NE Ohio will host D-III Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
