On Wednesday morning, a sizable line hugged Progressive Field, with some in line claiming to have been waiting since the third inning of Game 6.
For those who have forced it out of their memory, that’s when the Cubs went up big after a grand slam off of Dan Otero (who had entered the game in relief of Josh Tomlin). The Cubs went on to win, forcing a World Series Game 7 in Cleveland on Wednesday.
Those in line claim there was a ticket release at some point Tuesday. They say they’re waiting in line to acquire their ticket to Game 7, slated for 8 p.m. EST.
One fan told Cleveland 19 News he’d be willing to pay $2,500 for a ticket.
The team has not yet said anything about the rumored release.
